This blend is like a superhero team of herbs, all ready to help your body kick out the bad stuff. Unlike those other detox blends that come with a side of "Beware!", this one is packed with cilantro, milk thistle, dandelion leaf, nettle, and chlorella, swimming in vegetable glycerine/distilled water or maybe even a splash of vodka (tincture and glycerite options)
DO I NEED THIS? Heavy metals are sneaky little buggers, hiding in your food, water, paint, makeup, air, and gadgets. Even if you try to dodge them, they’ll still find a way in. Symptoms of heavy metal exposure can make you feel like you're in a bad sitcom with food issues, focus problems, a wimpy immune system, and mood swings. This blend is here to help your body show those metals the exit door.
HOW DO I USE IT? Start with 4-6 weeks. Keep an eye on how you're feeling and stop when you see improvements. You can also invite this blend back for a detox reunion every few months.
WHO SHOULD NOT USE IT? **Warnings and Herb Contraindications:**
1. **Cilantro:** Avoid if you’re allergic to celery, fennel, dill, anise, or caraway (the spice gang).
2. **Milk Thistle:** Steer clear if you’re allergic to daisies or are taking birth control or heart meds.
3. **Dandelion:** Say no if you’re on blood thinners or diuretics.
4. **Nettle:** Skip it if you have diabetes.
DO NOT USE IF PREGNANT
AGE: It’s all about personal choice. I wouldn’t start a heavy metal detox on my child until they’re at least 4 years old (using glycerite) and even then, I’d go low and slow. Some brave souls start earlier - that’s your call as a parent - the herbs are safe.
These herbs are the gentle giants of the detox world - some others out there are like the Hulk with safety warnings. Always chat with your doctor if you’re worried about detoxing. Think of these as short detox vacations, best done once or twice a year.
